Apple's next rumoured launch this month - the 7.85-inch iPad Mini - seems to have got a shot in the arm thanks to another mockup video.
Japanese blog
Macotakara.com has put up the mockup video showing what the
iPad Mini might look like. The 7.85-inch tablet has the volume rocker buttons on the left edge, a camera on the left hand corner, a lightning port connector at the base surrounded by two speaker sections.
The iPad Mini design looks traditionally Apple. Before the iPhone 5 launch, there were a lot of iPhone 5 mockup designs doing the rounds of the net. They eventually turned out to be the actual iPhone 5 design. Going by that yardstick, these iPad Mini mockups may just be the actual design of the yet-to-be-announced Apple 7-inch tablet.
With the Amazon Kindle Fire HD and Google Nexus 7 already out and that too at $199 pricing, it will be interesting to see whether Apple is able to bring the pricing down to those levels or settle for a higher number like $249. We will know soon.
