The walk assist robot is designed in such a manner that it get attached to one leg and help you to walk around or get in or out of the bed easily.
Working : This Walk Assist Robot has a position sensor which is attached to thighs and pressure sensor which is attached to foot, Position sensor measure the users thigh position while pressure sensor measures the weight put on to the feet. Both works simultaneously and with accuracy. Based on the user’s stride an actuator attached in the knee regulates what action need to be taken for best walking assistance to user. there is also an facility of Secure lock at the knee joint, which ensures user can walk without fear of falling once the speed of walk and leg swings is noticed.
